PROTEST SCANDAL HITS MPR

Controversy rocked MPR last week with the news that some members had instigated a silent protest of Round 3 @ The Saint. One of the protesting members, who did not want to be indentified said:
"The rule clearly states that no more than 50% of the group should have attended the pub before. Its quite clear that The Saint could not have been eligible. To my mind, any members who attended The Saint that night were just having a normal Friday night out with friends - NOT an MPR night".
The other members who did not attend did want to comment on the issue, but when quizzed, confessed that they simply "had something else on that night". All 5 members who did attend claimed they had not previously been to The Saint, making it eligible.
The issue has been referred to the Review Committee for a judgment, but in the meantime, the result for The Saint remains valid - and from all accounts, will be a hard score to beat. For greater clarification on the Rules, Click Here.
